The DML is a private library, primarily funded by the Uniting Church in Australia (VicTas) and the Jesuit Society (ANZ). Anyone may enter and use the library space and collections: You must be a member to borrow books. Information about purchasing Membership can be found here.
Your login is your email address (the one used for the library catalogue account).
You must set up your own password from the Forgot your password? link.
Books can be renewed 2 days before the due date. You will receive a reminder before the books are due.
Log in to your library account. Select 'renew all'; or select each book you wish to renew and click 'renew selected'.
If a physical item is currently on loan, you can place a hold on that item. When it is available again, you will be notified, and you can come and pick it up from the front desk.
To do this, click ‘Place Hold’ in the relevant catalogue entry and click ‘Confirm Hold’ to complete the process.
You can cancel a hold at any time by logging into your account, navigating to the ‘Holds’ tab on your account home page, and clicking ‘cancel.’
Yes! The DML generally purchases required and recommended unit readings for Pilgrim Theological College and the Trinity College Theological School. Readings for the current semester are available from the Course Reserves link.
Note: Some eBooks may be available through the University of Divinity Library Hub. eBooks with a link on the list are accessed via the DML catalogue. They are not linked from the University of Divinity Library Hub, but may also be in that catalogue.
Library donations are currently on pause. That said, you are welcome to provide the library with a printed list of titles with the corresponding author(s) and date of publication for library staff to assess for possible inclusion in the DML's collection. Thank you for your consideration.
